About this vintage design furniture
This coffee table was made in Bohemia in the 1930s by the famous tubular furniture company Vichr & spol. The table features a chrome-plated metal base and a wooden top. The table is in excellent condition after a complete renovation. The table top was newly lacquered, the chrome base was professionally cleaned.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
