About this vintage design furniture
This large vase is made of stoneware and features ceramic glazing in various tones of blue. It was designed by Einar Johansen and was produced in Denmark by Soholm. Danish ceramic artist, Einar Johansen was employed at Søholm from 1958 - 1966. He designed and created a wide range of stoneware, where his “blue series” is highly sought after today among collectors.

Einar Hoffmann Johansen (1905-1992) was a Norwegian industrial designer. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s for the Norum company, where he designed numerous products, including televisions and radios.
