About this vintage design furniture
This Danish vintage armchair with armrests was designed in 1952 by Erik Kirkegaard and manufactured in Denmark by Høng Stolefabrik in the 1960s. It features a frame in solid oak. The oak elements have been cleaned and polished with a wax. The upholstery elements have been changed and covered with a blue navy textured material.

Erik KIRKEGAARD
Erik Kirkegaard (1925-1982) was a Danish designer known for his work on wooden and rattan furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and worked for several Danish furniture manufacturers.
