About this vintage design furniture
The chairs are made of black lacquered ash wood and the seat is made of braided rope that was reworked in the original way. These chairs are from 1960 to the early 70's. Excellent condition. Not reissued.

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
