About this vintage design furniture
The MVS chaise lounge was designed by Maarten Van Severen and connects Minimalist chaise lounge design with comfort. Thanks to the elastically yielding material the simple rectangular Vitra lounger offers comfort, and in addition, thanks to the sub frame it can be easily switched between a lying or sitting position. The chair is marked with the manufacturers mark, and is made of Polyurethane

About the designer
Maarten van SEVEREN
Maarten Van Severen was a Belgian designer who was born in Antwerp in 1956 and died in 2005. He came from a family of artists and studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent.
