About this vintage design furniture
5 Vintage Mid Century Norwegian Modern fan back ’TOTEM’ dining chairs by Torstein Nilsen for Westnofa, 1986 Made out of high quality materials, solid oak wood, resilient cold-cured foam seats covered with leather and ergonomically curved backs. Very good condition 2 armchairs have a black seat and 3 chairs ( one with armrest and two without) have a greygreen seat Seat height 47 cm.

About the designer
Torstein NILSEN
Torstein Nilsen is a Norwegian designer born in 1950. He studied at the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo, graduating in 1975. After graduating, he worked for several design and architecture companies in Norway, including the Ekornes furniture company. He has also worked as a freelance designer, participating in numerous interior design and furniture projects for companies and individuals in Norway and abroad.
