About this vintage design furniture
Desk armchair by Hans J. Wegner designed circa 1940. Solid oak structure, seat in natural leather strips, exactly the same as a saddler. This chair was part of the furniture of the Århus hotel in northern Denmark, designed by Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller and built from 1937 to 1941. Arne Jacobsen entrusts the design of the furniture to the young Hans Wegner.
