About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Yngvar Sandström and Alf Svennson in 1968 - produced by DUX, Sweden. The Galaxy chair has a great space-age form that characterises the futuristic movement of the mid-late 60’s. Made from a moulded plastic frame with soft foam filled cushions, it is as comfortable to sit in as it is striking to look at. Light surface scratches to the plastic frame.

About the designer
Yngvar SANDSTROM
Yngvar Sandström was a Swedish designer who was born in 1931 and died in 2009. He studied at the Konstfack School of Art and Design in Stockholm, graduating in industrial design in 1955.
