About this vintage design furniture

Organic stoneware bowl designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand in a brown hare’s fur glaze. Hand thrown in Sweden in the 1950′ s. Hand signed “R”, three crowns of Rörstrand with initials of ceramist. Very good condition with few signs of wear.

About the designer

Carl Harry STALHANE

Carl Harry Stålhane was a famous Swedish designer born on July 14, 1920 in Mariestad, Sweden, and died on May 24, 1990 in Örebro, Sweden. He is best known for his outstanding contributions to Swedish pottery, notably for his work at Rörstrand, one of Sweden's oldest pottery companies.
