About this vintage design furniture
Large stoneware vase designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand in a brown hare skin glaze. Handmade in Sweden in 1950. Hand signed "R", three crowns from Rörstrand with ceramist initials. In good condition, some wear with a small chip on the edge.

Carl Harry STALHANE
Carl Harry Stålhane was a famous Swedish designer born on July 14, 1920 in Mariestad, Sweden, and died on May 24, 1990 in Örebro, Sweden. He is best known for his outstanding contributions to Swedish pottery, notably for his work at Rörstrand, one of Sweden's oldest pottery companies.
