About this vintage design furniture

A unit ’D’ bookcase by Robin Day for Hille c.1952. Constructed from solid agba with two adjustable shelves, sliding glass doors, and gently tapering beech legs. This example is stamped to the rear with an impressed Utility Furniture stamp (CC41) making this example an exceptionally rare first year of production piece. In good restored condition and given a soft-sheen, lacquer finish.
