About this vintage design furniture
This very rare set of Peter Ghyczy two "egg" chairs + table mostly used like garden furniture were produced between 1960-1969 by VEB Synthese - Werk in Swarzheide Germany manufactur. The fiber glass body on the chairs shows some signs of wear due to age (shown on the photo). The table is in very good condition two.

Peter GHYCZY
Peter Ghyczy is a Dutch designer born in 1940 in Budapest, Hungary. After studying architecture at Munich University of Technology, he moved to Stuttgart, where he worked as an industrial designer for various companies.
