About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Georg Thams and produced by Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik in the late 1960’s, this chair oozes Mid-Century style. Covered in a brown leather it has a great angular profile that is also very well proprtioned. The four star base on both the chair and stool is finished with a generous 5mm thick rosewood veneer. There are a few minor surface scratches on the arms of the chair.

About the designer
Georg THAMS
Georg Thams was a German industrial designer born in 1935 in Flensburg and died in 2016 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied at the Flensburg School of Applied Arts and began his career working as a carpenter before turning to industrial design.
