About this vintage design furniture
Coffee table in rosewood by Kai Kristiansen for Aksel Kjersgaard from the 1960s. Featuring two rosewood veneered extending surfaces (each 37.5 cm), the table can be "stretched" to a maximum length 222 cm. Both pull outs have a routed groove on the underside creating a comfortable handle.

About the designer

Juul Kristensen is a Danish industrial designer born in Copenhagen in 1937. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in industrial design in 1961.
