About this vintage design furniture

This Italian fiberglass lounge chair was designed by Carlo Bartoli and was made in Italy by Arflex in the 1960s. This model is called Gaia. It is a typical example of 1960s design. The chair is made of Fiberglas with a Polyester resin and lacquer finish. This design is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
