About this vintage design furniture
“Tokyo” bench from Triva serie designed by Yngvar Sandström. Produced by Nordiska Kompaniet at Nyköping in Sweden during the 1960′s, sold at Illums Bolighus, danish department store. Signed with label. Slatted bench in solid oak, good vintage condition with patina and traces related to age and use.

About the designer
Yngvar SANDSTROM
Yngvar Sandström was a Swedish designer who was born in 1931 and died in 2009. He studied at the Konstfack School of Art and Design in Stockholm, graduating in industrial design in 1955.
