About this vintage design furniture

Mid-century brown easy chair designed by Gerard van Den Berg for Montis. Early edition with the original leather upholstery and rotanmetal base. The high quality leather has gained a beautiful patina over the years. Remains in very good, original condition. Seating height 40cm.

Gerard VAN DER BERG

Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
