About this vintage design furniture
Cantilever chair "Kengu"with low couch. Design by Elsa & Nordal Solheim for Von Rykken & Co, made in Norway. Curved plywood frame in rosewood with dark brown leather covering. The leather shows aslightly visible patina. Good condition with small traces of usage.

Elsa & Nordahl SOLHEIM
Elsa Solheim and Nordahl Solheim are two Norwegian designers who worked together under the name Solheim Design Studio. Elsa Solheim was born in 1922 and died in 2012, while Nordahl Solheim was born in 1919 and died in 2014.
