About this vintage design furniture
Suite of four oak chairs stained by Czech designer František Jirák. They were produced by Tatra nabytok in 1960. Typical of the design of the Soviet era by the original aesthetics and the economy of materials. Fully restored and upholstered with red fabric. The backrest is made of a plywood plate, curved, tinted and perforated.

About the designer
Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
