About this vintage design furniture

With reference to his earlier work with cabinet maker Niels Vodder this chair designed in 1956 was the most technical and sophisticated of his designs for France & Son. With a sculpted teak frame and equally sculpted cushions that appear to float above the frame on brass supports. This example dates from the mid to late 1950’s. It has been upholstered in a high quality black wool.
