Bauhaus brown chromed metal and oakwood desk, by Petr VICHR, for Konova. From the 1930s. Made in Czech Republic. 4 deep central locking drawers, with original lock and 2 keys. Refinished with high gloss varnish and chrome work renewed. Handles in original condition. Restored.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
