About this vintage design furniture
The ‘Memphis group’ was founded by Ettore Sottsass and included many important postmodern Italian designers and architects. It began in Milan around 1981, for a period of around six years. During this period postmodern furniture, fabrics, ceramics, glass and metal objects held a specific aesthetic; combining bold geometric forms, bright colours, and hyperkinetic patterns.
