About this vintage design furniture

This secretaire or cabinet was designed by the Dutch Cees Braakman for Pastoe in the 1960s. The cabinet is part of the well known ‘Birch series’ (Berkenserie) and has the now iconic bent ply feet that made this series so well known. The cabinet is made from birch veneer with solid birch wood edges, and has been refinished.
