About this vintage design furniture
Rare rocking chair designed by Hans Kaufeld, Germany, 1970. The sculptural frame of the chair is made of brushed aluminium.The leather cover is attached to the frame with saddle leather straps by buttons. Straps are in original except one strap under the seat that has been renewed. Comfortable chair in very good condition with minor traces of wear consistent with age

Hans Kaufeld was a German industrial designer who was born in 1932 and died in 2017. He studied at the Munich School of Applied Arts, where he was trained in ceramics, glass and porcelain.
