About this vintage design furniture
Kristian Vedel vintage design sofa from the 1960s. This is the Modus model and was produced by Søren Willdsen Møbelfabrik. The backrest and armrests have a nice sculpted shape. The frame is made out of rosewood. The condition of the sofa is very good, the leather on the front has minimal signs of use (see photo 3).

Kristian Solmer Vedel (1923-2003) was a Danish designer, best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
