About this vintage design furniture
Chair model S33. Designed by Mart Stam in 1926 by the famous producer Thonet. This chair is the first design without back legs. Stam experimented with gas tubes and so he created this model S33. For Stam it was important that the chair should swing because he designed the chair for his pregnant wife. The leather has some wear (see photo.)
