About this vintage design furniture
Named the ‘Amoeboid’ by the designer, is known as the ‘Cloud table’ for obvious reasons. It was designed by Neil Morris for Morris & Co, Glasgow in 1947. It exploits the design possibilities of laminated wood by combining french polished Honduras mahogany and Canadian Betula – the chamfered edging exposes its different layers. Professionally french polished and small scratch filled by prior owner.
