Armchair by Peter Hvidt & Orla Nielsen Mølgaard for Søborg Møbelfabrik in 1956. Tandem's most popular item in teak frame with delicately sculpted arm rests, half lip back and diagonal stretchers. The chair was carefully restored and is in good vintage condition.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
