Sabine CHAROY

The company is best known for its steel lamps, the most famous of which is undoubtedly the "Pingouin" model created in 1970. This lamp is a veritable icon of 1970s French design, recognizable by its elegant shape and black-and-white color scheme. She has also designed other lamps, furniture and decorative objects.

Sabine Charoy has received several awards for her work, including the René Gabriel Prize in 1971 and the Silver Medal of the City of Paris in 1974. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around the world, and her creations are now part of the permanent collections of several prestigious institutions, such as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
