About this vintage design furniture
Vintage Canta armchair designed by Toshiyuki Kita and produced by Cassina in 2000. Swivel armchair in orange fabric with a fixed steel base. Steel frame, padding in CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Removable fabric cover. Canta has a backrest with armrests: one of these having variable shape can be used as headrest. Good condition of conservation.

About the designer
Toshiyuki KITA
Toshiyuki Kita is a Japanese designer born in 1942 in Osaka, Japan. He studied architecture at Kyoto University before joining the Italian furniture manufacturer Cassina in Milan, where he worked on industrial design projects for companies such as Sharp and Hitachi.
